I am excited to say that I have had a bit of a winning streak over these last two months. In September, 2 of my quilts won awards at the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show. “Snow Day” won 1st Place in the Machine Embroidered/ Thread Painted category, and “Ski Buddies” won 2nd Place in the Pictorial Category. Check out their website at https://quiltshow.com/winning-quilts/?_winning_years=2023 to see pictures of all of the 2023 winners. It looks like it was an incredible show.

In the beginning of October, my quilt “Sunset at Camel Rock” won 2nd Place in the Small Pictorial category at the International Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival in Everett, WA. The list of all of this year’s festival winners can be found at https://www.qfamuseum.org/iqfaf-home.html

Also in October, my quilt “The Palace of Fine Arts” was a part of the “New Quilts of Northern California” exhibit at Pacific International Quilt Festival in Santa Clara, CA. It was also entered into the PIQF 2023 competition. It won 1st Place Visual Impact in the New Quilts exhibit, and Best Interpretation of Theme in the Innovative category at PIQF. More info on about the New Quilts exhibit can be found at the Northern California Quilt Council website at https://ncqc.net/new-quilts-of-n-ca
